The Sto:lo Xwexwilmexw Treaty Association Outreach team is hosting a series of community engagements for our SXTA members in preparation for the Constitution vote. Come learn about the SXTA Constitution, get updated on what’s been happening in negotiations, and share a meal. See the flyer for more details.
SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT! SXTA Bursary/Essay Competition 2019
“What does self-government mean to me and to my community?”
Write a 900-1200 word essay to win $1000
Deadline for essays: September 13, 2019
CONTACT OUTREACH FOR THE RULES
The competition is open to SXTA members from one of our six communities aged 17 to 25. The applicant is not required to be university of college-bound; the scholarship money can be used for any type of advanced education. Previous winners and the immediate families of SXTA staff are not eligible to participate.
